First, stop trusting the DPI warning fix

The biggest mistake people make is thinking they can just upscale the image a couple times, make the resolution number bigger, and call it good.

Why is upscaling alone not enough?
Because bigger pixel dimensions do not automatically fix jagged edges, artifacts, and bad line quality. The stronger workflow is to rebuild the image, remove background junk, and vectorize where appropriate.
